Sessions for child portraits and family portraits are often the most fun and flexible. We can shoot both in-home and outside in your yard or at local parks, varying the look from formal to casual within the same session.

These sessions last about two hours, with time to change outfits, have a snack if needed, and allow children to play and be themselves. There is no need to feel rushed in anyway, and no forced smiles will be accepted! :) We will even shoo parents into another room sometimes, in order to capture the child's true personality and expression for their individual portraits. And for family portraits, we want to capture your children and family as they really are, with natural interaction between all of you, so there will often be lots of joking around and laughing - Aaron Mitchell Photography wants you to enjoy the experience itself as well as the beautiful portraits that result from it.
